Mangalagiri All India Institute of Medical Sciences has its own hospital block with a built-up area of 93,532 sq.mt and a capacity of 960 beds as well as 24 operating theatres to treat patients. The AIIMS Mangalagiri hospital brings together the best medical minds and a devoted team of doctors to deliver the best possible care to those who have been afflicted.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh was approved in February, 2009 under Phase-II of Pradhan Mantri Sawasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) at an approved cost of Rs. 823 crore. The State Government had agreed to provide 148 acres of land. A Gazette Notification was issued on 13th August, 2013 for establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Rae Bareli. The Government of Uttar Pradesh transferred land measuring 97 acres out of already agreed 148 acres to the Central Government in July, 2013 for establishment of AIIMS Rae Bareli.

e-Sushrut C-DAC’s Hospital Management Information System is a major step towards adapting technology to improve healthcare. HMIS incorporates an integrated computerized clinical information system for improved hospital administration and patient health care. It also provides an accurate, electronically stored medical record of the patient. A data warehouse of such records can be utilized for statistical requirements and for research.

The government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi with the objectives of :
 i) correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable and reliable tertiary healthcare services;
 ii) augmenting facilities for quality medical education creating a critical mass of doctors and 
 iii) conducting research in the country relevant to the area. 

AIIMS Jodhpur is one of the SIX NEW AIIMS established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education. PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.
