Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH) was formally inaugurated on 2nd October, 2000. At present this multi - specialty teaching hospital has 1400 beds. MGH also provides adequate clinical teaching materials as envisaged by Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, and Indian Nursing Council.
 
The world - class infrastructure with the state- of- art medical equipment and highly reputed and experienced medical consultants / doctors / paramedical staff of MGH provides clinical support to the faculty of medicine resulting into most efficient teaching in these institutions. 

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College was established in 1963, in Belgaum, Karnataka to provide quality healthcare education, research and training facilities to medical professionals. The vision of the inception of the medical institute and the hospital was to provide affordable and highly expertise delivery of healthcare facilities. The college forms a Constituent Unit of the Deemed KLE University. Head, Department of Pediatrics and Chief, Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Unit, Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. This is a 300 bedded facility providing highly specialized care to children. Apart from MD Pediatrics, we run 9 postdoctoral DM Programmes and 4 Fellowships in various super specialties of Pediatrics - the largest number of academic programmes in any department in India. Of these, 4 DM Programmes and the 4 Fellowships were initiated after I took over Chair of the department in October 2016.
