Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha

Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society was established at Agroha (Haryana) on 18th April 1988 to provide health care services, medical education.

To bring healthcare of International standards within the reach of every individual. We are committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence in education, research and healthcare for the benefit of humanity.

The Society commemorates the great patriach of the Vaish Community, Maharaja Agrasen, in whose name this college was built and is located at Agroha; the Capital of his Great Kingdom.

We also acknowledge the constant support received from Shri Nand Kishore Goenka in the venture. We hope we will prove worthy of the trust reposed in us. Set up on sprawling 267-acre lush green fields, the Agroha Medical College, a joint venture with the Haryana Govt. is located in the heart of Haryana just 170 km from the National Capital, Delhi. It has 100 seats for medicine, a well-equipped faculty complete with a 450 bedded hospital in line with the stipulations of the Medical Council of India (MCI). 

We are deeply indebted to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Dushyant Chautala and Shri Anil Vij, Hon’ble Health Minister of Haryana whose support has rejuvenated the Agroha Medical College. The College has all the major departments in medicine and associated facilities. It has a mobile health care centre with a fleet of ambulances that provide round the- clock emergency service. 

There is no doubt that the expanded project will go a long way in fulfilling the needs of society and will soon become a centre of excellence. It has hostels for students, nurses and resident doctors. There are campus staff quarters for members of faculty and other essential staff. 

To be the Director-Principal of MAMC Agroha is a matter of huge honor and great responsibility for me. I am thankful to the management for reposing faith in my credentials and capabilities.

Over the time, this institute has evolved into a 550 bedded tertiary care centre, leading the way in the field of medical education, training and research under the aegis of our visionary President, Smt. Savitri Jindal Ji. To accomplish the goals envisioned by our philanthropic leadership, we are determined to work tirelessly and contribute for the noble cause. I extend my sincere thanks to the Government of Haryana for providing consistent support to the institution and thus, fulfilling the healthcare needs of the common population in the region.

Keeping the international health standards in view, we have been providing the best possible healthcare & medical education facilities in this region.

Myself being the gynaecologist, relieving the pain of an ailing patient has been my prime concern. So, I would like to emphasize one more aspect of medical care. ‘Care with Compassion’. I am committed to continuing the legacy of this renowned institute in the field of medical academics and holistic healthcare services.

With blessings of seniors, support from my colleagues and dedication of diligent workforce, I wish and hope this premier institute to scale higher heights.

The guiding philosophy reigning in the medical sciences through conscientious, give professional service to the ailing, the needy and to strengthening knowledge base in the relevant fields through research. The objective of imparting education to the aspiring medical students, including human values, professional ethics and moral virtues are met in integrated form to groom the upcoming generation to serve the community relentlessly. 

Keeping in with prime objective of MAMC Society of providing value based education and social service, the MAMC Hospital addresses the ever growing demand for quality health care professionals delivering quality health care through quality infrastructure at zero cost to alleviate human sufferings through healing hands.

The Management feels a sense of fulfillment noting that its services are reaching and helping the suffering and needy segments of the population.

This year achievements are commissioning of state of art modular operation theatre block and are in process of commissioning new CT and MRI, in addition Dialysis Unit has been established also. 

Great sense of pride and achievement fills our hearts and souls as we participate and contribute our efforts in fructifying the grand vision of our visionary leader Sh. O.P. Jindal Ji.
