NASA has grown cabbage in space!

The astronauts tried Chinese cabbage in the inner space center after trying it for about a month. According to NASA, astronaut Peggy Watson called Japan's Yyo Tokyo bakana as Chinese cabbage.

Astronauts at the space station will get some of these cabbage to eat and the rest will be reserved for scientific study at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

This space station will be the fifth crop to be grown. Chinese cabbage was selected after estimation of several fruit vegetables.

According to NASA, four names were sent to the space food systems team of its Johnson Space Center. Tokyo Bakana was chosen from among them.
