History :

Late Galbabhai was son of Smt Hemaben and Shri Nanjibhai born at Nalasar village, Vadgam Taluka of Banaskantha located in North Gujarat. Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel played an important role in the foundation of the dairy having headquarter at Palanpur.

Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust is established on 17/09/2016 by Banas Dairy and approved by the Charity Commissioner, Palanpur under the Bombay Act 1950 as per rule No. 29 having certificate No. E/1530.

The GMERS Medical College and Hospital complex is Unitary, spread over 62 acres of land and has several blocks of buildings.The Medical college has 4 blocks with Pre- and Paraclinical departments all built according to MCI Norms.There are 5 A/C lecture theatres in medical College and one in the hospital.All pre-, para- and clinical departments have demonstration rooms.There are separate common rooms for girls and boys.The Library is in a 3 storied building, totally air-conditioned and there is separate A/C outer reading room for 150 students.The residential facilities for teaching, non teac
